Not all states of malaise are well explained by the horse, sometimes they manifest their discomfort by presenting behavioral disturbances. This is the case for example for horses that have stomach problems but show a support tic. If the problem is not identified and resolved quickly, it can cause physical damage and stressful situations that strongly affect the horse’s performance.
